Terbaru, Australia, Inggris, Kanada hingga Portugal secara resmi mengumumkan dukungan mereka ke Palestina.
Kini, sebanyak 147 dari 193 negara di Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa mengakui negara Palestina.
Negara yang bersekutu dengan Israel pun mengumumkan pengakuan terhadap negara Palestina.
Pada Minggu (21/9/2025), Inggris, Kanada, dan Australia resmi mendeklarasikan pengakuan mereka atas negara Palestina.
Langkah ini menandai anggota pertama negara-negara ekonomi maju G7 yang mengambil langkah tersebut.
Keputusan tersebut kemudian disusul oleh Portugal.
Paulo Rangel, Menteri Luar Negeri Portugal buka suara.
Ia menyebut, pengakuan negara Palestina dinilai sebagai perwujudan dari garis fundamental, konstan, dan fundamental kebijakan luar negeri Portugal.
Mereka pun mendesak agar dilakukan gencatan senjata segera.
“Portugal menganjurkan solusi dua negara sebagai satu-satunya jalan menuju perdamaian yang adil dan abadi. Gencatan senjata sangat mendesak.” ujar Paulo.
Nantinya, sejumlah negara juga dikabarkan akan menyusul langkah negara G7, seperti Belgia, Prancis hingga Selandia Baru.
Negara-negara lain akan membuat pengumuman resmi mereka pada Senin (22/9) di konferensi khusus PBB.
