Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) memutuskan awal Ramadhan 1446 hijriah dimulai pada Sabtu (1/3/2025).
Keputusan itu diambil setelah Kemenag menggelar sidang isbat.
Hasil sidang tersebut bergantung pada pemantauan rukyatul hilal yang digelar di 125 lokasi di seluruh Indonesia.
Keputusan sidang isbat ini mengonfirmasi bahwa awal Ramadhan yang ditetapkan pemerintah sama dengan yang ditetapkan Pengurus Pusat Muhammadiyah.
Sebelumnya pada Rabu (12/2/2025), Muhammadiyah telah menetapkan awal Ramadhan jatuh pada 1 Maret 2025.
Seperti diketahui pemerintah dan Muhammadiyah menggunakan metode berbeda dalam menentukan awal Ramadhan.
Muhammadiyah menggunakan metode hisab berdasarkan perhitungan matematis dan astronomis.
Sedangkan pemerintah menggunakan metode rukyatul hilal. (Tribun-Video.com/Kompas.com)
