È tornato il sereno sull'isola d'Elba, ma sono state intensissime le precipitazioni che si sono registrate nella tarda serata di martedì 20 ottobre (si parla di oltre 120 mm) soprattutto nel versante occidentale, provocando apprensione e alcune criticità in particolare nelle località di Pomonte, Patresi e Sant'Andrea, nella zona di Marciana Marina (Livorno) dove si sono registrati danni, smottamenti specie sulle zone costiere, crolli di qualche muretto e disagi alla viabilità. Sulla strada provinciale 25, come segnalano i carabinieri di Portoferraio, si è verificato uno smottamento che ha reso necessaria la chiusura al traffico del tratto compreso tra Patresi e Colle d'Orano, con l'intervento dei vigili del fuoco. Alcune criticità si sono verificate anche lungo la strada della Costarella, tra Marciana e Marciana Marina, dove il rischio di esondazione di un fosso ha determinato la temporanea interruzione della circolazione. La Protezione civile ha in corso verifiche per accertare eventuali ulteriori danni causati dal maltempo, che ha interessato anche altre zone dell'isola. A Patresi, lì dove c'erano due metri d'acqua si è formata una spiaggia di sabbia, ghiaia e detriti portati giù dal fosso del Bollero che ora consente di andare a piedi dalla punta del molo alla punta del Pozzali, mentre lo scalo delle barche è completamente interrato.
