O presidente do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), economista Marcio Pochmann, participa de uma coletiva de imprensa com um pool de veículos independentes na próxima terça-feira (14), às 17h (horário de Brasília). A iniciativa é uma realização do Centro de Estudos da Mídia Alternativa Barão de Itararé.O evento terá transmissão ao vivo pelo Canal do Barão no YouTube e será retransmitido simultaneamente por uma rede de veículos parceiros. A mediação será da jornalista e coordenadora da entidade, Samira de Castro.
A coletiva contará com a participação dos seguintes veículos: CartaCapital, TVT News, Jornal GGN, DCM, Atitude Popular e O Cafezinho.
A expectativa é que Pochmann aborde os principais indicadores econômicos e sociais recentemente divulgados pelo instituto, além de temas da conjuntura nacional.
A iniciativa consolida o papel do Barão de Itararé, que cumpre 15 anos em 2025, como um facilitador do diálogo democrático e no fortalecimento do jornalismo plural.
