Polisi Periksa Saksi Kasus Penipuan Pinjol Berkedok Lowongan Kerja di Jaktim
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - 27 orang pelamar kerja diduga menjadi korban penipuan dan penggelapan bermodus pencurian data pribadi untuk pinjaman online atau pinjol.Penipuan dilakukan karyawan toko penjualan telepon seluler di Pusat Grosir Cililitan Jakarta Timur.
Puluhan pelamar kerja itu dijanjikan pekerjaan dengan syarat menyerahkan KTP dan ponsel bersamaan dengan surat lamaran pada terlapor.
Data para pelamar kerja itu diduga dicuri untuk mengajukan pinjol. Total kerugian yang dialami 27 korban mencapai Rp1 miliar lebih.
Polres Metro Jakarta Timur menangani laporan dan telah meminta keterangan saksi-saksi kemarin.
Polisi juga meminta warga tak mudah memberikan data kependudukan untuk menghindari penyalahgunaan.
