Andhra Pradesh: At Least 14 Dead After Bus Collides With Lory & Catches Fire | Spotlight
At least 14 people were killed, and several others were injured after a private bus collided with a tipper lorry and caught fire in Andhra Pradesh. The accident occurred near Rayavaram while the bus was travelling from Telangana to Nellore. Police said the impact triggered a blaze that engulfed the vehicle, trapping passengers inside, with some burnt alive. Around 35 people were on board, and the death toll may rise. Injured passengers have been hospitalised, some in critical condition. Leaders, including President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressed condolences as authorities launched an investigation.---
