Feuer in Mannheimer Wohnhaus – Stromkasten löst Brand aus

Mannheim (ots) Am Sonnntag, kurz vor Mitternacht, meldeten Anwohner eines Mehrfamilienhauses in der Zellerstraße einen Wohnungsbrand einer im 3 Obergeschoß befindlichen Wohnung. Durch die Berufsfeuerwehr Mannheim, die mit einem Löschzug vor Ort war, konnte die betroffene Wohnung rasch lokalisiert und betreten werden. In der Wohnung konnte als Brandausbruchsstelle der dortige Stromkasten festgestellt werden. Das Brandgeschehen konnte unmittelbar unter Kontrolle gebracht und gelöscht werden. Nach derzeitigem Ermittlungsstand ist von einem technischen Defekt als Brandursache auszugehen. Durch die Rauchentwicklung im Gebäude brachten sich 20 Anwohner vor das Anwesen in Sicherheit. Verletzt wurde niemand. Nachdem das Gebäude gelüftet wurde konnten die Bewohner wieder in ihre Wohnungen zurückkehren. Der Brandschaden wird auf ca. 10 000,- Euro geschätzt.
