Cioè, è normale che le banche trasferiscano ai clienti dei costi che sono stati attribuiti a loro, anche se le banche hanno fatto degli utili incredibili negli ultimi anni. Inoltre, la nuova tassa potrebbe spingere le banche a una maggiore selettività, escludendo dal credito le aziende con profili di rischio più alti. Un simile irrigidimento colpirebbe probabilmente al cuore il tessuto produttivo italiano in una fase economica estremamente complessa.
