Pada April 2023, IRGC mengumumkan kematian empat diplomat Iran.
Sementara saat ini, IRGC kembali menegaskan bahwa Israel bertanggung jawab atas penculikan tersebut.
Dalam pernyataannya, IRGC mengatakan menghargai upaya pemerintah Lebanon dan menekankan perlunya terus menyelidiki kasus ini.
Pihak Lebanon pun membentuk kembali komite pencari fakta kerja sama dengan organisasi internasional untuk mengusut kasus tersebut.
Meski begitu, IRGC mengancam akan melancarkan serangan balasan ke Israel.
Bahkan Iran menyebut agresinya akan memperlihatkan kerapuhan Israel dan mempercepat kehancuran negara tersebut.
