Millionendiebstahl mitten in London. Ein 29-Jähriger klaut eine Designerhandtasche. Darin: ein Fabergé-Ei und ein Uhrenset. Zusammen bis zu 2,5 Millionen Euro wert. Der Diebstahl passiert im November 2024 vor einer Bar im Londoner Szeneviertel Soho. Ermittler glauben, der Täter hat keine Ahnung, was in der Tasche steckt. Statt Luxus kauft er mit den gestohlenen Kreditkarten Zigaretten und Kleinigkeiten. Ein Jahr später wird der 29-Jährige in Belfast unter falschem Namen gefasst. Zurzeit verbüßt er eine zweijährige Gefängnisstrafe. Das Fabergé-Ei und das Uhrenset bleiben bis heute spurlos verschwunden.
