Eine massive Flut- und Geröllwelle hat in der nepalesischen Provinz Nuwakot entlang des Flusses Trishuli große Teile einer Ortschaft zerstört. Nach Angaben von BILD-Reporter Axel Lier wurden die ersten 200 bis 300 Meter der Siedlung komplett weggerissen. Die nepalesische Armee fliegt rund um die Uhr Rettungseinsätze, da Brücken zerstört wurden und Menschen auf der anderen Flussseite festsitzen. Einige Bewohner versuchen, sich auf Dächer zu retten, während Rettungskräfte nach Vermissten suchen. Wegen Warnungen vor einer weiteren Sturzflut mussten die Einsätze zeitweise eingestellt werden. Die Lage bleibt gefährlich.Quelle: BILD
