Microsoft Copilot Studio Can Build Apps Now! 🚀
Yes - Microsoft Copilot Studio can build apps now! In this video, I take you through the new Apps experience in Microsoft Copilot Studio and show you how to build a complete app with AI — starting from a prompt and taking it all the way through preview, refinement, data connections, publishing, and sharing. This is a big step forward for Copilot Studio. You can now bring Apps, Agents, and Workflows together in one experience and use AI to help build solutions that combine user interfaces, business logic, enterprise data, automation, and intelligent experiences.
In this tutorial, I walk through the experience step by step and show what app building in Copilot Studio (new feature) actually looks like.
🔥 What you’ll learn in this video:
- How to create an app directly in Microsoft Copilot Studio
- How to start with a natural language prompt
- How Copilot generates the app experience for you
- How the UI, logic, and data model come together
- How to preview the app while building
- How to refine and update the app using natural language
- How to work with data sources and connectors
- How publishing and sharing work
One of the most interesting parts of this new capability is that Microsoft is creating a common app-building experience across multiple entry points.
You can build apps through experiences such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and developer tooling, while the apps use the same underlying managed runtime and governance model.
⚠️ The Apps experience is currently in Public Preview, so functionality and capabilities may continue to evolve.
