Hasyim Asy'ari Dipecat, Afifuddin Ditunjuk Jadi Plt Ketua KPU

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Komisi Pemilihan Umum menunjuk Komisioner KPU Mochammad Afifuddin sebagai pelaksana tugas Ketua KPU.

Dewan Kehormatan Penyelenggara Pemilu (DKPP) memberhentikan Hasyim Asyari sebagai Ketua KPU atas tindakan asusila.

Keputusan diambil setelah komisioner KPU menggelar rapat pleno tertutup di gedung KPU Pusat.

Afifuddin ditunjuk sebagai Plt Ketua KPU sampai dipilihnya Ketua KPU definitif.

Afifuddin pastikan diberhentikannya Hasyim Asy'ari dari jabatannya, tak akan ganggu tahapan penyelenggaraan Pilkada 2024.

Sebelumnya, Hasyim Asy'ari diberhentikan sebagai ketua sekaligus Komisioner KPU, karena terbukti melakukan tindak asusila kepada seorang anggota PPLN wilayah Eropa.
