[Stromausfall in der Seestadt!] Einsatzfahrten während Katastrophenschutzübung in Bremerhaven

Shown here are various emergency vehicles responding in the seaside city of Bremerhaven. The vehicles were on the road on Saturday, September 12, 2026, during a large-scale civil protection exercise.

The scenario simulated a power outage and a failure of the drinking water supply. The various emergency and relief organizations had to deal with several different scenarios.

Not every clip was recorded as part of the exercise. Some of the vehicles were also responding to real emergencies during the exercise.

One of the highlights of this video is probably the variety of hook-lift vehicles operated by the fire department, THW and German Red Cross (DRK). The DRK hook-lift vehicle in particular has received a blue-light upgrade. The vehicle already appeared in an earlier video of a civil protection exercise, but back then it was still equipped with a removable emergency light and siren system. It has since been fitted with a permanently mounted system.

The hook-lift vehicle of THW Bremerhaven is also a real eye-catcher. Equipped with both an electronic siren and air horns, it certainly makes its presence known in two different ways. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
