TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Ketua Umum Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep mengumumkan Ahmad Ali sebagai Ketua Harian PSI pada Jumat (26/9).

Adapun Ahmad Ali sendiri sebelumnya merupakan kader Partai NasDem dan sempat menjabat sebagai Wakil Ketua Umum.

Dalam keterangannya, Ahmad Ali menegaskan bahwa status dirinya sebagai anggota Partai NasDem sudah gugur.

Meski begitu, Ahmad Ali belum sempat berpamitan dengan sang ketua umum, Surya Paloh.

Hal ini disampaikan Ahmad Ali saat ditemui seusai pelantikan pengurus DPP PSI periode 2025-2030 di The Club Djakarta Theater, Jakarta.

Ahmad Ali menekankan bahwa sosok Surya Paloh penting dalam hidupnya lantaran dianggapnya sebagai kakak hingga guru.

Ia mengklaim hubungannya dengan Surya Paloh masih terjaga baik.

Terkait keputusannya gabung dengan PSI, Ali menyatakan hal tersebut merupakan dinamika politik yang lumrah.

Menurutnya, hal tersebut tak jadi alasan untuk memutus silahturahmi.

Sementara itu, Sekjen Partai NasDem Hermawi Taslim saat dikonfirmasi pada Jumat (26/9) menegaskan bahwa Ahmad Ali masih menjadi anggota NasDem.

Namun saat ditanya mengenai bergabungnya Ahmad Ali ke PSI, Hermawi enggan untuk menanggapinya.

Adapun Ahmad Ali saat ditemui seusai pelantikan pengurus DPP PSI mengatakan bahwa dirinya bertekad membawa partai berlambang gajah itu menang Pemilu 2029.

Menurutnya, PSI perlu hadir untuk menjawab persoalan bangsa.

Untuk itu Ahmad Ali meminta jajaran partai untuk bekerja keras dan solid.
