आज RSS के सौ साल के स्वर्णिम सफर में आज एक और गोल्डन चैप्टर जुड़ गया. संघ की स्थापना के 100 साल पूरे होने के मौके पर आज प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने दिल्ली में एक विशेष डाक टिकट और एक स्मारक सिक्का जारी किया. 100 रुपये के इस सिक्के पर एक तरफ राष्ट्रीय चिह्न यानी अशोक स्तंभ अंकित है और दूसरी तरफ शेर के साथ वरद मुद्रा में भारत माता की भव्य छवि अंकित है, जबकि स्वयंसेवकों को भक्ति और समर्पण भाव से उनके समक्ष नतमस्तक दिखाया गया है. इस मौके पर पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि ये उनकी पीढ़ी के स्वयंसेवकों का सौभाग्य है कि उन्हें संघ के शताब्दी वर्ष जैसा महान अवसर देखने को मिल रहा है. मोदी ने कहा कि 1963 में जब RSS को 26 जनवरी यानी गणतंत्र दिवस की परेड में शामिल किया गया था, तब एक स्वयंसेवक के तौर पर वो भी राजपथ में हुई परेड में शामिल हुए थे..मोदी ने कहा कि भारत माता को लेकर जैसा सम्पर्ण संघ के स्वयंसेवकों में दिखता था, वैसा सम्मान बहुत कम लोग दिखाते हैं. यही वजह है कि आज जारी किए गए सिक्के में भारत माता को दिखाया गया है..उन्होंने कहा कि आज़ाद भारत के इतिहास में पहली बार भारतीय मुद्रा पर भारत माता की छवि अंकित की गई है, और ये एक बहुत ऐतिहासिक पल है.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the organization's founding, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a special postage stamp and a commemorative coin in Delhi. The 100-rupee coin features the national emblem, the Ashoka Pillar, on one side, and a majestic image of Bharat Mata (Mother India) in a gesture of blessing, with lions, on the other side, while the volunteers are depicted bowing in reverence and devotion. On this occasion, PM Modi said that it is the good fortune of his generation of RSS volunteers to witness such a momentous occasion as the centenary of the organization. He recalled that in 1963, when the RSS participated in the Republic Day parade on January 26, he himself participated in the parade on Rajpath as a volunteer. Modi said that the kind of devotion to Mother India shown by RSS volunteers is rarely seen. This is why Bharat Mata is depicted on the coin released today. He added that for the first time in the history of independent India, the image of Bharat Mata has been imprinted on Indian currency, and this is a truly historic moment.
