Resta forte il timore di un’escalation regionale che coinvolga attori terzi, come gli #StatiUniti o i Paesi del Golfo, e che vada ben oltre la dimensione bilaterale attuale. Oltre a questo, non dimentichiamo che con la guerra in Ucraina, appunto le tensioni in #MedioOriente e la rivalità tra #India e #Pakistan, cresce l’interesse su quali siano oggi i Paesi più sicuri in caso di un’ipotetica guerra nucleare tra potenze atomiche.
"Non ho accesso a fonti privilegiate, ma dalle dichiarazioni ufficiali e da ciò che è stato reso noto negli ultimi giorni, sembra che l’aeronautica iraniana sia stata completamente neutralizzata. Israele ha ottenuto la supremazia aerea in modo netto e incontestato, e i raid proseguono", Roberto Vannacci interviene in diretta sulla questione. Tuttavia, nonostante l’efficacia delle difese israeliane, l’Iran è riuscito a bucarle in parte: "Soprattutto con i missili balistici, #Teheran è riuscita a colpire, seppur in misura limitata. Il numero di missili lanciati è elevato, ma solo una piccola parte ha superato le difese".
La questione dell’eventuale intervento statunitense resta un’incognita. "Israele si aspetta (o almeno spera) in un intervento americano per colpire la centrale sotterranea di arricchimento dell’uranio impoverito. Ma non è chiaro se gli Stati Uniti vorranno esporsi, soprattutto considerando l’impostazione politica di Donald #Trump, che ha sempre cercato di presentarsi come un pacificatore".
