Program Makan Bergizi Gratis di Purworejo, Libatkan UMKM Hingga Pekerjakan Puluhan Ibu Rumah Tangga

PURWOREJO, KOMPAS.TV - Makan Bergizi Gratis kini menjadi hal yang dinanti siswa sekolah, khususnya di Kabupaten Purworejo, Jawa Tengah.

Selain fokus pada pemenuhan gizi generasi Indonesia, program ini juga berdampak baik bagi para pelaku UMKM.

Di balik tujuan utama program prioritas pemerintah, MBG atau Makan Bergizi Gratis yang terus berjalan dengan jangkauan semakin luas, ternyata terdapat segudang manfaat lain yang dirasakan masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan.

Hal ini dirasakan oleh masyarakat Kecamatan Bener, Kabupaten Purworejo, Jawa Tengah.

Dari program MBG yang sudah berjalan hampir tujuh bulan ini, mereka merasakan dampak baik, mulai dari banyaknya lapangan pekerjaan baru seperti juru masak, jasa mencuci ompreng, hingga pedagang yang ditarik sebagai mitra penyedia bahan masakan seperti sayur dan buah.

Salah satu dapur MBG di Kecamatan Bener, Purworejo adalah Yayasan Nastiti Harapan Mulia. Yayasan ini mempekerjakan 47 juru masak yang didominasi ibu rumah tangga. Tiap pukul 23.00 WIB, mereka mulai disibukkan untuk menyiapkan makanan bagi 29 sekolah di Kecamatan Bener, Purworejo.

Setiap hari dapur SPPG ini mendistribusikan 3.700 hingga 3.900 porsi Makan Bergizi Gratis yang diolah dalam dua sesi, yakni pukul 01.00 WIB untuk siswa jenjang PAUD, TK, dan SD, serta sesi kedua pukul 06.00 WIB untuk siswa jenjang SMP atau MTs.
