L’Iraq è un Paese di cui si sente parlare quasi unicamente per il petrolio, ed è conosciuto per l’invasione americana del 2003, e per essere uno Stato pericoloso, dove è meglio non andare. Ciononostante, l’Iraq è una delle culle della civiltà, e a vent'anni dalla caduta di Saddam Hussein è un Paese completamente diverso, che i media occidentali faticano a ritrarre dandogli giustizia. In questo primo di due documentari attraverseremo l’Iraq da sud a nord, in un viaggio che scardinerà molte delle nostre convinzioni.
