SOUTHAMPTON: Fall „Nowak“ spaltet England! Mob geht nach Mord an Student auf Polizei losSouthampton (England) – Ein Student liegt am Boden, niedergestochen, ruft um Hilfe, doch die Polizei legt ihm Handschellen an, statt ihm zu helfen. Henry Nowak (18) starb im vergangenen Dezember in Southampton. Ein Video einer Bodycam zeigt jetzt: Die Polizisten glaubten dem Täter – nicht dem Opfer. Sein Mörder Vickrum Digwa (23) wurde am Montag zu lebenslanger Haft verurteilt. Bei einer Demonstration eskalierte deshalb jetzt die Gewalt gegen die Polizei. Beamte wurden mit Steinen und Feuerwerk beworfen. Auf dem Video ist zu sehen, wie der schwer verletzte Wirtschaftsstudent immer wieder sagt, dass er niedergestochen wurde. Er rief: „I can't breathe“ („Ich kann nicht atmen“). Doch die Beamten glaubten ihm nicht. „Sie wurden niedergestochen? Wo?“, sagte ein Polizist auf dem Video. „Ich glaube nicht, dass Sie das sind, Kumpel.“
