Ahok menyebut nama Anies masuk dalam daftar berdasarkan hasil penyerapan aspirasi masyarakat yang dilakukan DPD PDIP.
"PDIP adalah partai yang demokratis dia membuka, dia menyerap aspirasi dari masyarakat tentu di sana ada nama Pak Anies dong, karena masyarakat Jakarta sebagian juga pengen Pak Anies jadi gubernur. Tentu kader partai PDIP mengusulkan, ini lho hasil dari aspirasi masyarakat," ujar Ahok ditemui di acara Ask Ahok Anything di Jakarta, Sabtu (22/6/2024).
Lebih lanjut, Ahok menegaskan keputusan siapa yang akan diusung untuk maju pilkada ada di DPP PDIP.
