ÖSTERREICH: "Unterdrückung!" Große Diskussion um Kopftuchverbot in Schulen!Österreich plant ein Kopftuchverbot für unter 14-Jährige an Schulen – und entfacht damit erneut eine Debatte über Religionsfreiheit und Kinderschutz. Integrationsministerin Susanne Raab (ÖVP) sieht im Kopftuch ein Symbol der Unterdrückung, das Mädchen in ihrer Freiheit einschränke. Der Gesetzentwurf sieht Geldstrafen von bis zu 1000 Euro für Eltern vor. Islamwissenschaftlerin Susanne Schröter unterstützt das Vorhaben: Ein Verbot könne religiös motivierten Anpassungsdruck verringern – und Mädchen vor Frühsexualisierung und Repression schützen. Der Konflikt zwischen Glaubensfreiheit und Selbstbestimmung spitzt sich zu.
