O que minhas mexericas têm a ver com o TOC?

E aquilo me fez pensar em uma coisa: quando existe a possibilidade de um risco, a fiscalização não precisa ter certeza de que existe um problema para agir.
E o TOC pode funcionar de um jeito parecido.
Um pensamento aparece e, imediatamente, ele pode ser tratado como se fosse uma ameaça que precisa ser investigada:
“E se isso significar alguma coisa sobre mim?”
“E se esse pensamento revelar quem eu sou?”
“E se realmente houver algum perigo?"
Mas um pensamento aparecer não é evidência de que aquilo seja verdade, nem de que exista um perigo.
O problema começa quando, para se sentir segura, a pessoa sente que precisa investigar, analisar, conferir e encontrar uma certeza.
Nem todo pensamento precisa passar pela alfândega.
