Israel ha lanzado nuevos ataques contra Teherán, dirigidos, según afirma, contra lo que denomina "infraestructura del régimen iraní". La televisión estatal iraní informó de la muerte de Ali Mohammad Naini, portavoz del Cuerpo de Guardianes de la Revolución Islámica (CGRI).Los ataques se produjeron un día después de que el presidente estadounidense, Donald Trump, pidiera a Israel que no repitiera los bombardeos contra infraestructuras de gas natural iraníes. El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Irán advirtió de una respuesta "sin restricciones" si las instalaciones energéticas del país vuelven a ser atacadas.
Por su parte, CNN informó de que un caza furtivo F-35 de Estados Unidos fue alcanzado por presunto fuego iraní y realizó un aterrizaje de emergencia en una base estadounidense en la región.
