US-Präsident Donald Trump feiert 80. Geburtstag in Washington: „Es war auch eine politische Show!“Washington D.C. – Was für eine gigantische Show! US-Präsident Donald Trump hat am Sonntagabend mit einem Cagefight-Spektakel seinen 80. Geburtstag gefeiert. Doch es wurde auch eine politische Prozession – der US-Präsident inszenierte sich abermals als erfolgreicher Deal-Maker: Nur wenige Stunden vor dem Start des Events verkündete Trump, dass ein Friedensabkommen mit dem Iran erreicht werde.
Genau diese Bühne hatte er sich dafür gewünscht: Rund 4000 Gäste waren eingeladen, die Kämpfe auf dem Gelände des Weißen Hauses zu verfolgen. Für weitere 125.000 Zuschauer waren Großleinwände eingerichtet. Und die Bilder gehen um die Welt!
