"مجلس السلام" في غزة.. لماذا لم يتحول إلى خطوات عملية؟
قال الكاتب الصحفي والمحلل السياسي سعيد عريقات إنه لا يرى، في تقديره، أفقا حقيقيا للسلام في المستقبل القريب، معتبرا أن الحرب لم تنته رغم إعلان وقف إطلاق النار في قطاع غزةوأوضح عريقات أن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب يمكنه أن يقول ما يشاء، لكن الواقع، بحسب وصفه، أن الحرب لم تتوقف، مشيرا إلى مقتل أكثر من 1200 فلسطيني منذ إعلان وقف إطلاق النار، وفق قوله
وتساءل عريقات عن المشروع الذي طرحه ترمب لتحقيق السلام، وقال إن "مجلس السلام" الذي تحدث عنه الرئيس الأمريكي لم يتمكن، حتى الآن، من فعل شيء، مضيفا أن المجلس ربما كان ينظر إليه كبديل للأمم المتحدة أو للواقع السياسي الفلسطيني
وأضاف عريقات أن الحديث الذي جرى في فبراير الماضي عن دعم غزة وتقديم أموال طائلة ومليارات الدولارات لم يتحقق منه شيء، معتبرا أن إسرائيل تسيطر حاليا، وفق تقديره، على نحو ستين بالمئة من قطاع غزة
