دو روز پس از آن که تخاصمات ایران و اسرائیل، با مداخلۀ ایالات متحده فرو نشست؛ دست کم تا این‌جای کار. هر دو طرف اعلام پیروزی کردند. علی خامنه‌‌ای، رهبر جمهوری اسلامی ایران که از زمان آغاز جنگ تاکنون در مجامع عمومی دیده نشده و تنها پیام‌های ویدیویی منتشر کرده، در یک پیام ویدئویی دیگر گفته اسرائیل تقریباً از پا درآمد و آمریکا برای جلوگیری از نابودی اسرائیل وارد جنگ شد. آمریکا و اسرائیل می‌گویند که در پی این جنگ، برنامۀ هسته‌ای ایران به‌شدت آسیب دیده و سال‌ها عقب افتاده.یکی از پیامدهای مستقیم جنگ اسرائیل و ایران، طرح تعلیق همکاری ایران با آژانس بین‌المللی انرژی اتمی بود که بدون حتی یک رأی مخالف به تصویب مجلس رسید و امروز شورای نگهبان هم آن را تأیید کرد. هرچند آلمان این مصوبه مجلس را «اشتباه» خواند و از دولت ایران خواست «این مسیر را دنبال نکند«.
اثرات رویدادی که دونالد ترامپ، "جنگ دوازده‌روزه" نامیده، به‌تدریج آشکار می‌شود.
