Land for Life: building a future where people and nature thrive ⏐ WWF
Watch the inspiring journey of community-led conservation in Kenya and Tanzania. The Land for Life project aims to improve the wellbeing of more than 27,000 people in this part of east Africa, bringing communities together to protect their land, livelihoods, and wildlife.Led by WWF-Kenya and WWF-Tanzania, and delivered in collaboration with local communities, African People & Wildlife, and SORALO (South Rift Association of Land Owners), this project showcases what’s possible when conservation is owned and driven by the people who live closest to nature.
In this film, we celebrate the successes of the project, from healthier ecosystems to stronger local economies and highlight why continued support is crucial to protect these gains for future generations.
