China pide esfuerzos para promover el libre comercio y acelerar la recuperación económica mundial

En el marco de la Reunión de Ministros de Relaciones Exteriores del G20, el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de China, Wang Yi, sostuvo varias reuniones importantes. Una de ellas fue con la directora general de la OMC, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, en la que Wang pidió esfuerzos conjuntos para promover el libre comercio y acelerar la recuperación económica mundial. Por su parte, la directora general elogió el éxito de China en la reducción de la pobreza, la educación y el avance de la industrialización. El canciller chino también conversó con el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de la India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Ambas partes acordaron que China e India deben confiar y apoyarse mutuamente para alcanzar el éxito. Finalmente, durante su encuentro con el ministro sudafricano de Relaciones Internacionales, Ronald Lamola, Wang afirmó que China está dispuesta a estrechar los lazos con Sudáfrica y a trabajar conjuntamente para dar voz al Sur Global.
