Jaksa KPK Ogah Cari Sensasi, Kantongi Bukti Perselingkuhan SYL, Isis Chat Menjurus Tindak Asusila

Bukti tersebut berbetuk pesan di WhatsApp, didapatkan dari telepon genggang SYL yang disita oleh KPK buntut kasus korupsi di lingkungan Kementerian Pertanian.
Hal ini dibeberkan JPU KPK dalam sidang pembacaan replik atau tanggapan atas pleidoi SYL di Pengadilan Tipikor Jakarta, pada Senin (8/7/2024).
Namun, Jaksa KPK memilih untuk tidak mengungkapkannya karena kasus yang mereka tangani soal SYL ini bukan terkait dengan tindakan asusila.
Selama ini, hal tersebut ditahan oleh Jaksa KPK karena tidak mau dianggap mencari sensasi karena bukti itu tidak berkaitan dengan kasus korupsi yang menyeret SYL.
Jadi, mereka membatasi dan fokus pada fakta yang berkaitan dengan kasus korupsi di Kementan tersebut.
Dalam sidang tersebut, Jaksa mengungkapkan, mereka bisa saja menampilkan seluruh isi chat dari ponsel SYL itu di dalam persidangan, jika berniat mencari sensasi.
Namun, tim jaksa penuntut umum tak berniat demikian, sehingga memilih untuk menahannya atau hanya menampilkan sebagian saja.
Sebab, chat-chat yang menurut Jaksa menjurus kepada tindak asusila atau perselingkuhan itu dianggap tak berkaitan dengan kasus korupsi SYL itu.(*)
