Sin embargo, mientras en los foros internacionales se habla de estabilidad, dentro de Siria la situación es mucho más inquietante, con las fuerzas gubernamentales llevando a cabo acciones como:
• Masacres contra la minoría alauita.
• Violencia masiva contra la minoría drusa.
• Ofensiva contra los kurdos, antiguos aliados de Estados Unidos.
Sea como sea, Estados Unidos está retirando sus tropas y apoya al nuevo gobierno, mientras traiciona a sus viejos aliados kurdos.
