Irak’ın kuzeyinde tırmanan askeri hareketlilik, İran’ın kara ve hava operasyonları ile sınır hattındaki terör yapıları, Orta Doğu’da düzeni temelinden sarsıyor. Bölgede nüfuz mücadeleleri sürerken; PKK, PJAK, YPG gibi uzantıların tek bir merkezden yönetilen proje örgütler olarak sahaya sürülmesi jeopolitik riskleri artırıyor. Şubatta kurulan terör ittifaklarının ardından tırmanan eylemler, Irak’ın Fav Limanı’ndan başlayıp Türkiye’ye uzanması planlanan Kalkınma Yolu Projesi’ni istikrarsızlaştırmayı amaçlıyor. Aynı zamanda BP konsorsiyumu üzerinden şekillenen ve TPAO’nun da pay sahibi olduğu Kerkük petrollerine bölgesel yönetimlerce el koyma çabası ile Kerkük ve Musul’un statüsünü değiştirme planları, Türkiye’yi jeopolitik bir tuzağın içine çekmeyi hedefliyor.
