Nada Tegas Mahasiswa Desak Pimpinan DPR Telepon Kapolri: Bebaskan Kawan-kawan Kami yang Ditangkap

Mereka meminta seluruh mahasiswa yang ditahan polisi dalam gelombang demonstrasi pada 25-31 Agustus 2025, segera dibebaskan.
Permintaan itu disampaikan oleh Ketua Bidang Perguruan Tinggi, Kemahasiswaan, dan Kepemudaan (PTKP) Pengurus Besar Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (PB HMI), Abdul Hakim El saat audiensi bersama pimpinan DPR, Rabu (3/9/2025).
"Saya meminta, di sini ada tiga wakil ketua DPR, saat ini telepon Kapolri, segera sampaikan bebaskan kawan-kawan kami yang ditangkap di semua polres, di semua polda yang ada di Indonesia," kata Abdul Hakim.
Abdul menilai, mahasiswa yang ditangkap polisi bukanlah perusak maupun pemberontak
Desakan perwakilan mahasiswa ini disambut secara kompak oleh mahasiswa lain.
Mereka menyatakan sepakat dengan tuntutan pembebasan seluruh massa aksi yang ditahan.
"Detik ini juga, telepon Pak Kapolri. Segera bebaskan kawan-kawan kami yang masih ditangkap. Baru kami jalankan lagi forum ini, sepakat ya," sambungnya.
Adapun pimpinan DPR yang hadir yakni Wakil Ketua DPR Fraksi Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Wakil Ketua DPR Fraksi PKB Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, dan Wakil Ketua DPR Fraksi NasDem Saan Mustopa.
Meski begitu, ketiga pimpinan DPR tidak menindaklanjuti langsung desakan agar menelepon Kapolri.
