Lieberman menilai Netanyahu sedang memimpin "Israel" menuju "kehancuran" karena ia tidak mampu mengelola entitas pendudukan tersebut.
Menurut Lieberman, Netanyahu terutama berfokus pada mempertahankan kekuasaannya.
Padahal Israel menghadapi ancaman eksistensial dan tengah mengalami krisis multidimensi yang meliputi masalah politik, ekonomi, dan keamanan—yang paling signifikan sejak didirikan.
Ia mengkritik seluruh sistem politik di Israel, dan mengatakan bahwa sistem tersebut dikompromikan oleh kelompok kepentingan.
Lieberman juga mengecam penanganan Netanyahu terhadap perang di Jalur Gaza dan kegagalan rezim tersebut untuk mencegah Operasi Badai Al-Aqsa yang dipimpin Hamas pada 7 Oktober tahun lalu.
Lieberman sebelumnya menyerukan pemecatan kabinet Netanyahu, dan menggarisbawahi bahwa pencopotan perdana menteri dari kekuasaan akan menjadi hadiah bagi warga Israel.(*)
