Un video breve diffuso sul canale telegram di ‘Welcome to Favelas’ documenta un episodio accaduto domenica mattina, 7 luglio, poco dopo le 9, nei giardini pubblici di via Giacomo Radini Tedeschi a Bergamo. Un ladro dopo aver derubato una donna, si è lanciato nella roggia Serio per sfuggire alla polizia, riportando gravi ferite.Le immagini girate da un residente e mostrano chiaramente la scena: la donna, vittima dello scippo, tenta con tutte le sue forze di resistere mentre grida "aiuto, aiuto", mentre l'uomo la trascina cercando di strapparle la borsa. I residenti, scioccati, incitano il ladro a fermarsi.
Un altro video cattura il 31enne pochi minuti dopo nella roggia, dove si è tuffato da diversi metri di altezza in un punto dove l'acqua è profonda poco più di un metro.
