BUNDESTAGSWAHL: "Beschädigt unsere Demokratie!" Friedrich Merz tritt nochmal gegen die Ampel nachFriedrich Merz fordert eine Korrektur des Wahlrechts in der kommenden Legislaturperiode. Die von der Ampel-Koalition beschlossene Reform habe einseitig die Union benachteiligt, sagte der CDU-Chef. Besonders kritisiert Merz, dass 23 direkt gewählte Kandidaten keinen Sitz im Bundestag erhalten – 18 davon aus der CDU und CSU. Zudem seien vier Wahlkreise nun ohne Abgeordnete. Merz sieht darin eine Gefahr für die Demokratie und will mit der SPD über Änderungen sprechen. Die Wahlrechtsreform bleibt damit ein zentrales Streitthema für die neue Regierung.
