kembali mengancam misi Greta Thunberg yang berupaya menuju ke Gaza dengan membawa bantuan logistik.
Menteri Pertahanan Israel, Yoav Gallant, Minggu (8/6/2025), memperingatkan, akan melakukan blokade kapal hingga memutus sinyal.
Gallant mengatakan, pasukannya akan berupaya melakukan segala tindakan untuk menghentikan kapal Madleen yang mengangkut 12 aktivis iklim, termasuk Greta Thunberg.
Bahkan, jika mereka nekat, Israel akan memblokir jalur pelayaran dan mengarahkan kapal kembali ke pelabuhan Ashdod di Israel.
“Saya telah memerintahkan IDF [Pasukan Pertahanan Israel untuk bertindak agar armada pembenci tidak mencapai pantai Gaza,” kata Katz mengutip dari The Guardian.
“Kami akan mengambil semua tindakan yang diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut” imbuhnya.
Diketahui, kapal Madleen ialah kapal kelompok Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC).
Kapal milik FFC ini berlayar dari Sisilia sejak 1 Juni 2025.
Kapal tersebut mengangkut berbagai logistik dan barang bantuan kemanusiaan untuk warga Gaza.
Bantuan tersebut seperti susu, makanan pokok hingga perlengkapan medis.
"Ada dua belas dari kami warga sipil di atas kapal. Kami tidak bersenjata. Yang ada hanya bantuan kemanusiaan," kata anggota parlemen Eropa Rima Hassan yang turut berlayar di kapal itu.
Menurut mereka, kapal bantuan itu sudah sampai di lepas pantai Mesir, Pada Sabtu (7/6).
Yakni, diperkirakan akan sampai di Gaza pada Senin (9/6) pagi waktu setempat.
Kendati kapal Madleen yang ditumpangi Greta Thunberg hanya membawa bantuan kemanusian, namun Israel khawatir kapal itu dimanfaatkan untuk menyusupkan dukungan logistik bagi Hamas.
