Secondo Ardizzi, "non esistono due cervelli, come non esistono ormoni maschili e femminili…", e la concezione di un cervello sessualmente dimorfico è da smontare. "Quello che la scienza ha messo in luce" è che il cervello sarebbe un mosaico plastico di caratteristiche condivise, influenzate tanto dalla socializzazione quanto dalla biologia. A spiegarlo è stato un esperimento, raccontato dalla scienziata al Festival. "E' stato chiesto ad attori maschi e attrici femmine di interpretare ruoli dominanti e si è osservato che dopo l'interpretazione il testosterone aumentava soprattutto nelle donne". Un segnale "evidente", dice Ardizzi, e sufficiente per "sfatare il mito".
"Questo racconto - commenta Bonifacio Castellane in diretta - mi ricorda molto i racconti che i clerici vagantes facevano nei paesini di provincia isolati, che loro visitavano per spiegare le vicende del Vangelo".
