Bukan tanpa alasan, Agam menjadi sorotan setelah berhasil mengevakuasi pendaki asal Brasil, Juliana Marins, yang tewas saat melakukan pendakian di Gunung Rinjani, Nusa Tenggara Timur bersama tim SAR.
Melalui media sosialnya, Agam merupakan seorang pemandu wisata gunung dan pantai.
Agam diketahui membagikan video saat dirinya mengevakuasi jenazah dari kedalaman 600 meter pada Rabu (25/6/2025) pukul 13.51 Wita.
Momen dramatis terlihat saat mereka bergelantungan di tebing dengan jenazah Juliana.
Agam sendiri mempersiapkan penarikan jenazah menggunakan tali.
"Persiapan penarikan. Semangat," tulis Agam dalam video singkat itu, dikutip jabar.tribunnews.com (26/06/2025).
Sebelumnya, ia menyebut bahwa Tim SAR harus menginap di pinggir tebing yang curam sebelum mengevakuasi jenazah.
Menurutnya, ia bisa menjadi korban selanjutnya, lantaran cuacanya sangat dingin.
Bahkan, sebagian anggota tim terluka karena beberapa saat mereka hampir terguling ke bawah tebing.
Atas aksinya itu, tak sedikit yang memuji Agam baik dari dalam negeri maupun warganet Brasil.
Bahkan, banyak yang memberikan sumbangan dana.
Sempat menolak, Agam akhirnya menerima dengan catatan akan membagi uang tersebut dengan rekan-rekan yang terlibat dalam penyelamatan.
