Zum Saison-Auftakt lädt das hr-Sinfonieorchester mit der Europäischen Zentralbank wieder zum Europa Open Air. In der außergewöhnlichen Atmosphäre am Frankfurter Mainufer erwartet Sie mit Chefdirigent Alain Altinoglu ein weiterer begeisternder sommerlicher Konzertabend. Bis zu 20.000 Besucher lassen sich vom hr-Sinfonieorchester regelmäßig bei den sommerlichen Konzertabenden am Ufer des Mains begeistern. Diesmal stehen populäre Orchesterwerke von Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Aram Chatschaturjan und Gustav Holst auf dem Programm. Zudem ist ein mitreißendes Konzert für zwei Klaviere von Francis Poulenc zu erleben sowie die bekannte »2. Ungarische Rhapsodie« von Franz Liszt.

To kick off the season, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony and the European Central Bank once again invite you to the Europa Open Air. In the extraordinary atmosphere on the banks of the Main in Frankfurt, you can look forward to another inspiring summer concert evening with Music Director Alain Altinoglu. Up to 20,000 visitors are regularly thrilled by the Frankfurt Radio Symphony at the summer concert evenings on the banks of the Main. This year's program includes popular orchestral works by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Aram Khachaturian and Gustav Holst. There will also be a rousing concerto for two pianos by Francis Poulenc and the well-known »Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2« by Franz Liszt.
