Trận mưa lớn kéo dài từ ngày 2 đến ngày 3-7 tại TP Hà Giang (tỉnh Hà Giang) đã gây ngập úng cục bộ ở một số tuyến đường trên địa bàn, có nơi nước ngập lên tới 1 mét. Sáng ngày 3-7, dù lượng mưa không quá lớn nhưng nước trên khu vực núi Mỏ Neo tràn về đã gây ngập úng cục bộ tại tổ 2, 3 phường Trần Phú, thành phố Hà Giang.
Nước ngập cao khoảng 1 mét so với mặt đường ảnh hưởng lớn đến việc người dân di chuyển qua khu vực này. Một số hộ dân bị nước tràn mạnh vào nhà, làm sập tường bao và nhà xe, nhiều vật dụng trong nhà bị hư hỏng.
Lực lượng cứu hộ cứu nạn đã có mặt tại hiện trường, giúp nhân dân khắc phục hậu quả và di chuyển người đến địa điểm an toàn. Ban chỉ huy phòng chống lụt bão tìm kiếm cứu nạn thành phố Hà Giang đã chỉ đạo lực lượng 4 tại chỗ rà soát các điểm ngập úng, cũng như hỗ trợ nhân dân khắc phục hậu quả. Tính đến trưa 3-7, toàn tỉnh có 5 con trâu bị sét đánh chết.
