KOMPAS.TV - Hari ini (21/06) KG Media Group yang menaungi KompasTV mengambil langkah besar dalam mensukseskan pembangunan berkelanjutan di dunia.
Bersama dua raksasa media Asia lain Star Media Group Malaysia dan Philipines Daily Inquirer, KG Media meluncurkan Asia ESG Positive Impact Consorsium (AEPIC). AEPIC bertujuan mempromosikan prinsip-prinsip pembangunan berkelanjutan agar ekonomi hijau terus bertumbuh.
Bertempat di Sime Darby Convention, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia peluncuran AEPIC dihadiri perdana Menteri Malaysia Daruk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dan juga Duta Besar Indonesia untuk Malaysia Hermono.
Konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan atau Sustainibility Development Goals saat ini tengah jadi perhatian dunia.
Mengedepankan tiga pilar yakni lingkungan, sosial, dan tata kelola.
Diharapkan para pelaku bisnis maupun perusahaan akan mengahsilkan produk-produk yang bukan hanya memberikan dampak ekonomi namun juga dampak positif pada kelestarian lingkungan dan masyarakat.
