A Monteverde è stata profanata la targa all'ingresso del tempio Beth Michael. Sul muro del centro ebraico in via di Villa Pamphilj, sempre con la vernice nera, la scritta «Palestina libera» e «Monteverde antisionista e antifascista». Un oltraggio alla memoria del piccolo Michael Stefano Gaj Tachè, il bambino di due anni ucciso da un commando di terroristi palestinesi il 9 ottobre 1982 davanti alla Sinagogadi Roma. «All'indomani dell'ennesima manifestazione pro Pal - spiega Victor Fadlun, presidente della Comunità ebraica di Roma - al tempio di Monteverde è stata profanata la targa all'ingresso intitolata al piccolo assassinato dal terrorismo palestinese. Il tutto si inserisce in un clima intimidatorio, con l'attacco alla sede della Stampa di Torino e più in generale l'antisemitismo è diventato uno strumento di contestazione politica, il più abietto possibile. Confidiamo nelle forze dell'ordine e chiediamo un intervento forte del governo per fermare questa spirale d'odio». «Un gesto che oltraggia la Comunità ebraica - aggiunge Fadlun - e la ferisce profondamente, perché la targa è dedicata a un bambino assassinato dal terrorismo palestinese e perché questo è un luogo di ritrovo dove si incontrano i giovani e i bambini, dove si prega e si crea un senso di comunità.
