PLO | Bất ngờ điểm chung về tội danh của ông Lê Thanh Vân và ông Lưu Bình Nhưỡng | Chiều ngày 10-7-2024, Cơ quan Cảnh sát điều tra Công an tỉnh Thái Bình đã ra quyết định khởi tố, bắt tạm giam và khám xét đối với ông Lê Thanh Vân, Đại biểu Quốc hội khóa XV, do hành vi lợi dụng chức vụ, quyền hạn gây ảnh hưởng đối với người khác, vi phạm Điều 358 Bộ luật Hình sự. Cùng ngày, Ủy ban Thường vụ Quốc hội đã thông qua nghị quyết đồng ý khởi tố, bắt tạm giam và tạm đình chỉ nhiệm vụ của ông Vân.Trước đó, vào chiều 6-1-2024, Công an tỉnh Thái Bình cũng đã mở rộng điều tra vụ án liên quan đến ông Lưu Bình Nhưỡng, kêu gọi các cá nhân, tổ chức bị ông Nhưỡng lợi dụng chức vụ để trục lợi đến hợp tác giải quyết. Hai vụ việc này ngoài gây xôn xao dư luận nhưng đồng thời cũng thể hiện quyết tâm của cơ quan chức năng trong việc xử lý nghiêm minh các hành vi vi phạm pháp luật, với phương châm không vùng cấm, không ngoại lệ. Bất ngờ điểm chung về tội danh của ông Lê Thanh Vân và ông Lưu Bình Nhưỡng.
