SCHNEE-CHAOS: Lebensgefahr! Blizzard legt Deutschland lahm – Warnung vor Extrem-Wetter!Der Winter schlägt jetzt mit voller Wucht zu. Wetterexperten warnen zum Ende der Woche vor Schnee, Sturm und Eisregen in weiten Teilen Deutschlands. Besonders im Norden und Osten droht akute Lebensgefahr. Bis zu 40 cm Neuschnee und extreme Verwehungen machen Straßen unpassierbar. Während viele zu Hause bleiben sollen, arbeiten Winterdienste im Dauereinsatz.
In Kiel räumen sie zuerst Busstrecken und Hauptachsen. Gleichzeitig sind Wärmebusse des Roten Kreuzes unterwegs, um obdachlose Menschen zu schützen. In Berlin bringen Helfer Betroffene in Notunterkünfte oder versorgen sie auf der Straße. Schon jetzt steht fest: Einen Winter wie diesen hat Deutschland seit Jahren nicht erlebt.
