Bus tersebut mengangkut para lansia dengan kondisi kesehatan kronis yang hendak menunaikan ibadah haji melalui perbatasan Yordania.
Lantas, insiden ini memicu kecaman dari otoritas Palestina yang menyebut tindakan pasukan Zionis sebagai intimidasi terhadap warga sipil.
Sementara itu, Wakil Gubernur Jenin, Mansour Al-Saadi, mengatakan kendaraan militer Israel sengaja menabrak bus yang sedang diparkir.
Adapun rekaman video yang beredar di media sosial, menunjukkan kondisi kerusakan parah pada bagian samping bus.
Selain insiden tabrakan, pasukan Israel juga menangkap beberapa warga dalam serangan di berbagai wilayah Tepi Barat.
Dikabarkan seorang pemuda ditangkap di wilayah Silat Al-Harithiya dan seorang perempuan ditangkap di Anabta, Tulkarem.
Bahkan operasi militer juga berlangsung di dua kamp pengungsi di Nablus dengan suara tembakan dan ledakan terdengar.
Meski demikian, Mahkamah Internasional mengecam keras pendudukan Israel atas wilayah Palestina ilegal menurut hukum internasional.
