Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) meminta Kapolda Sumatera Barat (Sumbar), Irjen Pol Suharyono harus tegas dan tuntas dalam mengusut kasus kematian siswa SMP di Padang, Afif Maulana (13) yang diduga meninggal akibat dianiaya anggota polisi."Kapolda Sumbar Irjen Suharyono harus tegas dan tuntas untuk memproses anggotanya yang diduga melakukan kekerasan atas meninggalnya Afif Maulana di Padang," ucap Ketua IPW, Sugeng Teguh Santoso.
Pihaknya juga meminta, Kapolda Sumbar harus menonaktifkan Direktur Samapta Bhayangkara (Shabara) Polda Sumbar atas kelalaiannya.
"Kapolda harus menonaktifkan Direktur Samapta Bhayangkara (Sabhara) Polda Sumbar," ujarnya.
