Turismo, sì alla crescita. Ma per chi?

Secondo i dati del World Tourism Barometer delle #NazioniUnite, l’Italia si posiziona al sedicesimo posto nell’Unione Europea per la crescita del turismo internazionale, con un aumento del 3,5% nel 2025 rispetto al 2019, cioè prima del Covid.
Questo rallentamento è considerato fisiologico, dato che il #Paese è già una delle mete turistiche più visitate al mondo, e il margine di crescita dell’Italia sotto il profilo turistico è giudicato limitato dagli osservatori internazionali.
Sul fronte dei ricavi, l’Italia ha registrato una variazione positiva del +4%, confermando un consolidamento economico del settore turistico. Tuttavia, al di là della crescita registrata, ai fini di una vera analisi strategica in ottica forward-looking (cioè orientata al futuro) è necessario valutare anche i fattori di rischio.
L’ #OrganizzazioneMondialedelTurismo segnala tre elementi critici per il 2025: la debolezza della crescita economica globale, l’aumento dei costi di viaggio e l’inasprimento delle tariffe. Inoltre, secondo una ricerca basata su interviste strutturate, un quarto degli intervistati prevede che le tensioni #commercialiinternazionali possano incidere negativamente sulla performance turistica. Da qui possiamo già trarre una valutazione: una quota significativa degli intervistati, orientata alla cautela e all’incertezza, lascia prevedere un possibile calo della domanda turistica.
