Menurut keterangan Kapolsek Cariu, Kompol Agus Hidayat, jasad itu pertama kali ditemukan oleh warga pada Selasa (26/8/2025).
Saat ditemukan, kondisi mayat dalam posisi telungkup dan tersangkut bebatuan.
Pada saat itu mayat mengenakan kaos dan celana panjang berwarna hitam.
Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi petugas kepolisian, korban teridentifikasi bernama Euis, warga Kecamatan Tanjungsari, Kabupaten Bogor.
Menurut keterangan keluarga, korban berada dalam kondisi kurang sehat.
Ia diduga terpeleset lalu terbawa arus Sungai Cibeet sebelum akhirnya ditemukan tewas.
Rumah korban sendiri diketahui berada di bantaran sungai.
Terkini jasad korban sudah diserahkan kepada pihak keluarga untuk dimakamkan.
