Uang Pensiun Seumur Hidup Anggota DPR Digugat, DASCO: Kami akan Patuh pada Putusan MK
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Pimpinan DPR merespons gugatan uji materi soal penghapusan pensiun seumur hidup anggota DPR yang dilayangkan ke Mahkamah Konstitusi. DPR akan mematuhi apa pun putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi, termasuk soal penghapusan pensiun anggota DPR.Wakil Ketua DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, menyebut ketentuan pensiun anggota DPR merupakan produk dari undang-undang lama.
Dasco menegaskan, apa pun keputusan Mahkamah Konstitusi, termasuk soal penghapusan pensiun seumur hidup anggota DPR, pimpinan DPR siap mematuhi.
Uji materi penghapusan tunjangan pensiun DPR dilayangkan ke Mahkamah Konstitusi oleh dua warga, yaitu psikiater Lita Linggayani dan mahasiswa Syamsul Jahidin.
Mereka menilai tidak adil kalau anggota DPR yang hanya menjabat lima tahun bisa menerima tunjangan pensiun seumur hidup, bahkan bisa diwariskan.
